Use the custodian that matches the Cumberland County record:
- Court files: use Cumberland County criminal court cases, call General District at 804-492-4848, or call Circuit at 804-492-4442
- Repository history: contact the Virginia Department of State Police CARE and CCRE process
- Sheriff reports: call the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at 804-492-4120, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; county administrative requests also have a printable Virginia FOIA form
